Siren Back in Service
The house siren at IHVFC is finally back from the repair shop, and with a new fresh coat of paint it is back up on top of the pole at the firehouse. We can all once again revel in its music of emergency warnings.
Special thanks once again to Dillon’s Creek Marina for helping hoist the siren to the top of the pole with their crane. Thank you to our members Chief Eric Johnson, Ex-Chief Jon Brodbeck, and Firefighter Tino Iannone for reinstalling the siren, and thank you to member George McKelvey for driving the siren to and from the repair shop. A big effort from a lot of different people got the job done and got us back up and running so our members can be adequately alerted to emergencies.
